Funny Stuff People

Guys,

There are some funny entrees this time around. I forgot about the other branch of the family. It's scary to think that all those combinations are within Mom and Dad's genetic possibilities. It's a miracle that all of us came through with very few deformities. (My mis-shapen head, Dave's baldness, Steve, etc...) The other one that really got me chorkeling was Dan's "Mutual of Omaha" experience.

Similar experience: We have two birds nests in our yard this year. The one in the back yard is a robins nest that is pretty close to the ground within a thick vine thing in our back yard. Knowing Lincoln's penchant for animal and for egg, I showed him the nest. (Mistake) He immediately went over and got a baseball bat to try to knock down the nest. For the next week we had the domestic equivalent of a stake-out to keep the nest safe. Long story short, despite our efforts let's just say that there will be 3 less robins in colorado this year. -Not really funny.

It looks like I am not going to deploy after all. It may happen next year, but it's going to be nice to be around. We love you guys. Marisa is going to post some pictures in the next couple days.

P.S.- Clyde has a slightly different percent body fat than his distant wolf predecessors. The lambs would be safe with us.
