Hi guys,

It's almost been a week, so I thought I had better write a small note
about Kate.  Her full name is actually Kathryn Wendy after her
grandmas.  We kind of think it sounds like a Catholic Nun's name.  All
she needs is a last name like McGallager.  Anyway, mom and baby are
doing well other than Kate having her bilirubin a little elevated.
She might have to go under lights if it goes up more today.

I personally think she looks a lot like Dad.  -That may be because she
has a double chin and jowls.  The kids are all over her.  Sometimes
they are so excited to hold her that they shake her with excitement.
The dog tries to help out by licking her when she cries.   I don't
know if there are a lot of documented cases of shaken baby syndrome
complicated by dog flu.  Kate may be the first.  As Steve and Kathy
can attest, five kids feels like a lot.  It is worth it to know that
we are tied for second place on Mom's wall of pictures/baby
competition.
