The remarkable thing about this past month is the notable contrast between; vacation and school/work, homework and not, quiet and screeching, uncluttered and disaster relief, crusty and moistly dribbly, not too smelly and quite too smelly. Dave went on work trips to
Other highlights this month:
- Josh lost his tooth in a croissant, and got a bulls-eye shooting a bow and arrow.
- Maddie sang in church and gave a talk all in one day, and is a serious math whiz.
- Jacob has cheeks that are so pinchable people can’t stand it. He can get from sitting up to his belly and then back to sitting up again, and can do “mountain climbers”. No crawling yet.
Kid quotes:
“Homework kills trees. Play video games.” –Josh’s slogan, lifted from a t-shirt we think
“You’re the graham cracker fairy’s secretary.” -Josh, to Dave (long story)
“Jake is our sensei!” –Josh and Maddie (as ninjas)
“Bugs Bunny is really….intelligent.” –Maddie, with crack analysis on her first experience with watching Looney Tunes
“Pronoun trouble.” -Daffy Duck (I get into pronoun trouble all of the time)
