a quick note

Dear Family,

It has been fun looking over our pictures and remembering our happy days with you.  We hope some of you have pictures of our time at the cabin we stayed in as we seem to have relaxed and not taken any .

A huge thank you to all of you who did so much to organize a great reunion, especially Rick in making the arrangements for the cabin, skidoo, etc..  Marisa, what a labor of love you put into our Bentley Family Cook book.  It is a treasure, thank you.  Sharon and Matt, thanks for housing the multitudes and making us all feel so comfortable, as well as planning so many of the activities.  Rachel thanks for organizing the meals and buying all the paper products.  Dave thanks for the picture for the reunion t-shirts and to you and Kar for sharing Josh and Maddie with us.

Exciting news, for Dave and Kar, If the baby doesn't come before this next  Thursday, the doctor will induce labor that day, and Israel will have a cousin born on his 12th birthday (the 27th of August)!

Since returning to Tampico we've been busy getting things up and running again in the temple.  Today we had a two bus excursion from Palmas (about 4 hours away).  They arrived at 5:00 a.m. and stayed until the temple closed in the afternoon.  What wonderful saints and what a special feeling of love.  We have been asked to speak twice tomorrow, once in a ward sacrament meeting and then at a fireside in the evening.  Next week we will begin stake conferences, so life is speeding up.

For those of you who were with us in Argentina, we received word this week that Hna. Buckle, who served as our nurse, passed away.  We will forever be thankful to her for getting us to seek medical help for Mary when she needed an operation.

We hope all of you grandchildren in Colorado who began school this week, and those in Salt Lake who will begin next week will have a great year.  We love you and pray for you. Forever, Grandma Bentley/ Mother
